The Kimura Group develops businesses that support all aspects of daily life with food at the center.
Our manufacturing division develops and sells products using crops from our own farms and regional specialties; our wholesale division excels at building sales floors matched to varied needs; and our logistics division handles food and daily goods across four temperature zones. Together, these three core businesses provide the functions essential to enriched everyday living.
A Bridge Between Producers and Buyers
Discovering products that meet customer needs and proposing sales-floor layouts
To meet diversifying customer needs, our wholesale business offers a wide lineup centered on confectionery and food. We stock region-specific items, branded rice, and souvenirs, and through sales-floor proposals we will keep delivering services that delight our customers.
We discover locally rooted products, support sales-floor design, and ensure stable procurement and delivery based on retailers’ needs and challenges.
Through long-term partnerships with manufacturers we tackle issues throughout the distribution process.
Our confectionery wholesale network delivers safe, reliable, and delicious products to as many customers as possible.
We handle popular prefectural brands, 2 kg stand-up packs, specialty rice, and more, and we propose sales-floor plans that drive results.
Timeless Flavor and Bold New Challenges
Planning, developing, and selling our own products made with local ingredients
Committed to producing goods that embody safety, reassurance, and great flavor, our manufacturing business builds on the advanced rice-cracker techniques we have honed since our founding. We insist on Kumamoto-grown glutinous rice as the main ingredient and enforce rigorous quality control at every stage so customers can enjoy our products with confidence.
At our Hitoyoshi plant we also develop souvenirs that showcase local appeal, including long-loved favorites such as Shochu Monaka and Hinokuni Tsubaki.
Since our founding we have continued to make rice-based confectionery. We focus on Kumamoto-grown glutinous rice nourished by the spring water of Mount Aso, and in recent years our group’s farming arm has begun cultivating this rice for use in our products.
Drawing on years of experience in quality management and craftsmanship, we produce items that deliver safety, reassurance, and excellent taste.
We also plan and manufacture souvenirs rooted in the region, such as Shochu Monaka and Hinokuni Tsubaki, at our Hitoyoshi-area plant.
The carefully crafted gift assortments we sell mainly through our company shops are cherished as premium presents.
